Toc H is an international charity movement emerged in Belgium during First World War. Toc H Institute of Science and Technology (TIST) is owned by Toc H Public School Society which started its operations in 1978. TIST established in 2002, is one of the much sought after professional institutions in Kerala, attracting extremely talented management & engineering students across the nation. Within a short span, the college has established a strong record of academic excellence, a rich tradition of interdisciplinary research and a diverse and enthusiastic faculty skilled in independent learning and the art of teaching
The institute has been approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and Government of Kerala. Since inception, TIST is affiliated to Cochin University of Science & Technology (CUSAT). As per the revised State Government policy, TIST is now affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) from 2015. TIST is the only Engineering College in Kochi with NBA Accreditation for four Under Graduate programs, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
TIST offers Under Graduate Programs in Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology and Safety & Fire Engineering and Post Graduate Programs in Network Computing, Data Security, Power Electronics, VLSI and Embedded system, Wireless Technology, Thermal Engineering, Construction Engineering & Management, and Business Administration. TIST has now approved intakes strength of 540 students at the UG level and 156 students at the PG level and 60 students for MBA Program per year. We inspire the students to indulge in research, innovation and excellence, to gain valuable hands-on learning opportunities from real-world experiences.
